Merrydale Manor Accommodation
After the excitement of your special day, you and your guest will want somewhere to rest your head and have a good nights sleep. At Merrydale Manor, we have you covered for that.
One of the options when booking your wedding, would be to also include the Manor House. The Manor house has four impressive bedrooms, which can sleep in total eight people and each room features their own en-suite. We have the ‘Autumn’ room, which is the master bedroom of the house and is also classed as the Manor House Bridal Suite; It also has the added extra of the walk-in wardrobe. Our ‘Winter’ room has an impressive view of our country estate from the bedroom balcony, which doubles up as the perfect bouquet throw location. There is also the ‘Spring’ and ‘Summer’ room.
If you didn’t include the Manor House, there is also the option for the Courtyard. The Courtyard has ten bedrooms, which can sleep in total twenty people and again each room features their own en-suite. The main master-suite is the ‘Bridal suite and beauty room’. This room is a luxurious space for the bride to get ready in on the morning of the wedding and also rest at, at the end of their night. To fit with our theme of a country estate, the other nine bedrooms has been named after a countryside animal. You can choose from ‘The Hibou’, ‘The Mouton’, ‘The Chien’ and ‘The Saumon’, in the Saumon bedroom you have an unobstructed view of the lake and fountain from the window. We also have ‘The Owl’, ‘The Rabbit’, ‘The Saumon’, ‘The Sheep’ and ‘The Stag’. Each as beautiful as each other.
Another option on our Merrydale Manor estate is our five eco lodges. The lodges are nestled in a tranquil wooded area, just a short walk past the car park and over the bridge, or you can be chaffered to/from them using our estate golf buggy. These state-of-the-art Eco Lodges feature luxury linens, a bijou coffee area and a shower room. Available as a king-sized double or twin, they provide perfect overnight accommodation with breakfast included. These lodges are available for the night before your wedding or the night of your wedding; they are therefore on a first-come, first served basis.
Outside of our estate, just a short two minute drive is our countryside pub The Dog; serving a delicious seasonal menu and selection of drinks including world beers, fine wines and cocktails. There are six beautifully dog themed rooms, all featuring an ensuite. We have ‘The Boxer’, ‘The Labrador’, ‘The Retriever’, ‘The Dalmation’, ‘The Westie’ and ‘The Shepherd’. It’s the perfect cosy spot for the night before your wedding or additional accommodation the night of your wedding for your guests. We also provide a shuttle service to and from Merrydale Manor.
