With your consent, we will collect information from people that enquire about our services as follows:

  • Name/Address/Phone Number/Email Address(es)
  • Whether you would like to hear more about our venue
  • Where you heard about us.

We will not collect the above data without your consent and without giving you access to our privacy policy.  We may use this information for marketing but only related to that you have consented to. We keep this data for a six month period.

With your consent, we will collect information from people that book with us as follows:

  • Name/Address/Phone Number/Email Address(es)
  • Whether you would like to hear more about our venue
  • Where you heard about us.
  • Date of event and requirements associated with the event.

We require this information in order to simply contact you and provide an understanding of your demands and needs. We do not collect or retain any sensitive information.

Links to other websites

Our website may contain links to enable you to visit other websites of interest easily. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website  so if you’re unsure, have a look at their privacy policy on their website.

Cookies

Merrydale Manor uses Google Analytics to track the performance of its website. This collects non-personalised data.

3) Will the data be shared with any other third parties?

 We only share your information with Irlam Warburton Events who are our sister company offering event planning service.  We will only share your data with Irlam Warburton Events if you give us consent to do so.  You can read their privacy policy here.

4) How long we retain your data

We keep contact forms from visits to our venue and enquiries/registrations on the website for 6 months.  We keep customer records for 12 months after the event has finished and the final invoice is settled.

5) What rights you have over your data

At any time, you can request to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

6) How we keep your data safe.

We promise to keep your data safe and secure. Website data is safeguarded to European data protection standards with secured hosting.  We have a member of staff trained in data protection.  In the event of a breach of data is discovered, we will notify the ICO within 72 hours and the individuals where relevant.
