Viewing our Cheshire Wedding Venues
Since the pandemic started, Merrydale Manor and Colshaw Hall and have been creating ways for new and existing couples to be able to view our Cheshire wedding venues, without being physically present.
We were possibly the first venues to launch virtual tours which have proved to be a success, not just for those looking to book, but also for those that have already booked and wanted to reacquaint themselves with Merrydale Manor. and Colshaw Hall.
Throughout this time, safety has been the number one priority, and we’ve been following government advice carefully. After much consideration, we feel that with specific guidelines in place, we can now offer private viewings of both venues. These are by appointment only from Monday 25th May.
The safety of our team and our couples will always come first, and so there we will be five key measures put in place ;
1) Please do check out our virtual tours first!

2) Please restrict numbers to two people
Please only visit with people you are in a social bubble with. At the moment we are asking that you restrict the visitors to two people in total to protect our team and yourselves.
3) Washing of hands
The government advice throughout relates to thorough hand cleansing. You will be given the opportunity to sanitise your hands on arrival and again on departure.
4) We will follow social distancing guidelines
We will maintain the 2m distance and will make sure that internal doors are open and then you don’t have to touch any surfaces. We will also offer you optional face coverings on arrival for you to use if you would prefer this extra precaution.
5) Vulnerable People
If you have had any symptoms within the last two weeks or are considered to be in the vulnerable category, then please don’t visit and stay safe at home.
As you would expect from our venues, viewing appointments will be spaced out, to avoid any further interaction.
We are delighted to be able to show you around again and will carefully follow these guidelines to keep you and our team safe, while still having an enjoyable visit. Our show arounds will be reviewed regularly and if at any time we feel that we or you are at an increased risk then we will revert back to our virtual show arounds.
